The Hyderabad Golf Club a full-fledged facility with world class 18-hole course inaugurated here in Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad Golf Association, a NON PROFIT organisation was formed by a voluntary group of golfers in the year 1993 with an object to encourage, promote and develop the sport of golf, which is now an Olympic sport and establish an international standard golf course accessible to the.
The golf course project was initiated by the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation for setting up an international standard golf course & academy for the development of the sport of golf and tourism. The State Government licensed the land around Golconda to the Hyderabad Golf Association for this purpose.
The management of the association is vested in the general body and a Managing committee consisting of representatives of the Government, Archaeological Survey of India and elected members of the Association. All funds required for the operation of the association are contributed by its members and is totally self funded.
